A new job
Tomorrow, one of our candidates will start his new job that we have arranged for him.
In this respect, it was very pleasant to hear in the phone call today and a great confirmation that he is really looking forward to the new challenge and is full of motivation and enthusiasm for tomorrow.
It was also important to hear that he was able to bring his old employment to a harmonious end, professionally complete or hand over all his projects and also cash in a few days of remaining leave. It is actually quite an everyday and legitimate “business transaction” to change one’s employer and to tackle new perspectives and opportunities for oneself. It is all the nicer when such a change is not interpreted negatively by the old employer and one can leave the old employment relationship in an unclouded, unencumbered mood.
After the many positive preliminary discussions, the new employer could easily earn further merit by sending out a comprehensive welcome and information package early on about the first days in the new job and about the people the candidate will have to deal with during those days. This has already contributed noticeably to employee satisfaction, paints a very professional picture and provides the candidate with further confirmation that he has done everything right with the change.
We will continue to stay on the ball and closely follow the integration process. A good start to all involved!
